The Movies I Made as a Kid is accepting submissions for web, festival, and television production.

What is this?
This is the newest production from the producer of The Rejection Show.

That’s cool but that’s not really what I asked
The current generation of twenty and thirty something’s is the first generation to have grown up with easy to use video cameras and camcorders in their homes. Most of us experimented with these home video cameras when we were children. “The Movies I Made as a Kid,” will put these creative videos on display.

What do you mean by movies?
Well, did you dress up like GI JOE and film it? Did you make a parody of The Karate Kid except you substituted Yahtzee for karate? I did! Whatever you did...music videos, practical jokes, spoofs, comedic appearances, full movies, shorts, etc. As long as you were a kid when you made it.

What is the definition of a "kid?"
I'd like to leave that interpretation open to you...but as a general guideline you should have been under 18 when you made it, preferably not have had a beard yet, or other various very adult features. A kid, you know what a kid is. A child.

What about the format for this?
In order to maximize the full entertainment value of these videos it is important to see and hear the people or person as an adult first. We’ll find out what you do for a living, the name of your film, how old you were when you made it, etc. The idea is to see and hear you speak as an adult first to maximize the contrast between your adult self and the child self featured in the video.

I have a great video. How can I submit to this?
Contact Jon Friedman at jon AT rejectionshow.com for full submission details. It is free to submit.
